Thursday night Jazz – From 9.30pm or post-show.
The byre hosts a lively performance from talented local individuals from St. Andrews who have been convening for Jazz for over two years now. Every Thursday night has a great atmosphere, with a different selection of instruments adding to the regular performers. Thursday night Jazz has a great following, and the Bar&Bistro offers you the chance to see them in action for free.
Friday night Platform to Perform – From 9.30pm or post-show
Friday night brings a different style of entertainment, very contemporary and with a selection of local talented young musicians. Both acoustic and amplified, each week a variety of artists gather to perform.
Saturday night Byre Comedy Collective – From 10pm or post-show
Local talented comedian Mr Harry Gooch and his loyal band of cohorts perform for you every Saturday – where the audience are not just spectators but also performers! The evening starts with a series of sketches and games, with suggestions taken from the audience. The cast changes each week to keep the comedy vibrant and new. St. Andrews University Comedy Soc members are frequent guests and appeal to audiences both young and old!
