"NO SOONER has the opening chorus hit its stride than Molly's off, like a wee Scottish Lara Croft, braving incredible dangers. Our girl's got grit - and a goal to reach the King in his lofty castle, beg him for food and ensure her starving village has its annual Great Feast. Molly Whuppie is a legend out of old Scottish folk tales and Virginia Radcliffe's rollicking, lovable staging of her adventures - first seen in 2001 - has acquired mythic status as a tremendous theatre-treat for the young." The Herald.
Licketyspit are delighted to be taking up residence at the Byre with an especially festive Molly Whuppie for all the family. Newly developed with live clarsach and fiddle, yuletide merriment and song! The Byre will be sparkling with Molly Whuppie adventure this Christmas! This show is a hit with children and adults alike! There will be Molly Whuppie Winter Feast fare in the Byre Cafe-Bar, post-show puppet-making for children, Mulled wine (fruit punch!) mince pies, much cheer and more besides!
